The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Civil Inspector for a long term project within Kazakhstan

Rotation: 4 x 4
Duration: 12 month rolling contract
Day Rate: TBC
Flights & Accommodation: provided


Civil Inspector - Roads/Camps actively involved in construction activities to ensure constructed facilities are built
correctly per TSID, operability is retained, safety issues are addressed, and SIMOPS and transition plan
is implemented per design.

Engineering and Procurement Phase & Construction Phase
1. Has responsibility to conduct inspections of in process and completed work, installations
and testing to ensure compliance with project design specifications and drawings in a
timely manner.
2. Ensure timely completion of Construction check lists and forward to Document Control
group for compilation into System Dossiers in expeditious manner. Ensure QVD
completeness and correctness for turnover.
3. Perform walk-downs and document results to ensure compliance with project
specifications and procedures.
4. Develop and publish NCRs and Surveillance Reports to identify and gain resolution of
discrepancies observed during construction phase.
5. Closely monitor contractor performance and review of documentation as work progresses
will be required.
6. Work closely with Construction Supervision and other Inspectors daily to complete
inspections and ensure completion of required documentation, and to perform and report
results of necessary walk-downs.
7. Play active role in project safety culture including participation in weekly Safety Audits as
requested.
8. Make safety a natural part of all work performed.
9. Ensure good housekeeping at all times and timely completion of actions to resolve safety
issues.
10. Employ Operational Excellence and Quality Team Values to achieve continuous
improvement and performance excellence.
11. Review and sign Position Description, and participate in weekly team meetings to review
progress and status of Quality and Project initiatives.
12. Ensure adherence to construction schedule.
13. Responsible for receiving and responding to daily construction reports from Construction
Representative
14. Respond to site queries
15. Monitor Contractor performance.
16. Responsible for the accuracy of site red line mark-ups prior to as-built within
assigned engineering discipline.
17. Work with design contractor regarding constructability issues

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years experience within Civils
Must have college qualification
