The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
The incumbent will be working as part of the Client Team responsible for engineering assurance of the onshore compression stations and major (48”) pipeline in Contractor's offices with responsibility for review of civil and structural detailed design of compression stations and metering stations in support of the Engineering Manager.
Responsible for the design and construction of two major compression stations and a metering station. The Project is currently in execution with detailed engineering phase.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, and working closely with the Senior Geotechnical Lead Engineer, and the in-country Site Civil Engineer. The role has responsibility for ensuring that the civil engineering aspects of the facilities and pipelines are designed and constructed safely and in conformance with the requirements of Company Major Project Common Process, International Group Standards.
The role will involve working in close co-operation with a large number of groups including the Facilities and Pipeline Delivery Managers, and the Operations Groups. In particular the role will involve the close monitoring and response to the requirements of the large Contractor Project Team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Thorough technical grounding in civil engineering foundation and structural design
Facility construction experience
High project engineering capability

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer
