The Company:
An engineering and environmental services firm, is seeking a full-time Senior or Mid-Level Civil Engineer to be based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Role:
The successful candidate will interact with and manage others, provide mentoring, manage projects (or significant tasks), prepare proposals, assist in business development, and perform marketing campaigns. The position requires a strong understanding of the civil engineering design work process including: erosion & sedimentation control plan design & associated NPDES permitting, stormwater management design, floodplain permitting, DOT or railroad encroachments, an understanding of Section 404/401 permitting, design of natural gas pipelines in accordance with CFR 49 192 & 195 and ASME 31.4 & 8, design of horizontal directional drills and/or conventional bores, plan and construction document preparation, site grading, and right-of-way design.

• BS Civil Engineering or equivalent, Master’s degree preferred.
• PE preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years site /civil experience, with 2+ years experience relating to the oil and gas industry preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.
• GIS experience preferred.
• Must have fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
