The Role:
Role based in Blackhillock & Spittal, Caithness - Scotland

Ensure that all works are delivered safely and without environmental incidents.
Implement project plans, risk assessments, method statements and site waste management plans
Full Quality Assurance Role including coordination with Client Representative, ensure timely sign off of all works.
Review and understand client and designer specifications.
Ensuring the adherence to the relevant codes of practice for UK civil works and buildings.
Site based role ensuring the civil works are undertaken in accordance with the relevant Client and Design specifications.
Responsible for the day-to-day site technical queries, any minor design changes, site inspections and test plans, including the preparation of any snag lists and their successful completion and sign off.
Record all site activities and work closely with the quantity surveyor on all commercial matters.
Support the commercial team for the purpose of subcontractor payments and in the resolution of all contractual matters.
Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed on a daily basis.
Ensure that all interfaces regarding civil and structural design are managed in a timely manner.
Handling of contract correspondence and responsible for the independent resolution of site related issues.
Providing programme updates and progress reporting to the project management team.

Be able to interface with the client and all disciplines whether internal or external companies, suppliers, designers and unitary bodies.
Follow all designated work flow procedures and add value by introducing new consulted procedures.
Must offer flexible approach to work tasks, will be prepared to work additional hours as the project may require.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
An expert in the area of manufacturing and business performance improvement with extensive operations, engineering and management experience in appropriate sectors.
An expert in management of change and project management who is able to work at all levels within client organisations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Typically degree qualified professional with over 15 years experience and member or fellow of relevant professional institution(s).
