The Role:
Education/ Experiences :
 10-15 years’ experience in commercial/claims administration and management in O&G industry
 Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or quantity surveying

Skills :
 Excellent communication and negotiation skills
 Ability to simplify potentially complex, detailed information.
 Meet deadlines
 Prioritize effectively
 Delegate effectively
 Knowledge of various types of contract i.e. FIDIC, ICHEM

Characteristics :
 Calm in pressure or conflict situations
 Detail orientated.
 Reliable and discrete

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Work with functional groups to identify claims and change orders and make recommendations to
to Project Manager on the appropriate course of action.
 Evaluate cost/schedule impact of claims and change orders and prepare justification and supporting
documentation for submission.
 Discuss and negotiate claim and change orders with client representatives to a successful conclusion
in terms of value and time recovery.
 Ensure all appropriate documentation is prepared and submitted on time to support claims and change
orders.
 Supervise team to support the production of deliverables associated with the claims and change order
process.
