Our Client provides oilfield products, systems and services for customers in the oil and gas industry world-wide. They apply the knowledge and create and use technologies that deliver their customers' solutions.

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Coabis Engineer to carry out activities as instructed by the Coabis Manager and senior personnel, including the following:
Take a proactive approach to the development of their area of responsibility
Organisation and planning of work activities in their own area.
Work within established manhours and schedules.
Liaise with other disciplines on engineering issues.
Prepare cost/time/resource (CTR) estimates for reimbursable work.

Technical:
Provide end-user support in use of client's Coabis software product, although focus may be on process pipework/corrosion management or subsea structural depending on background.
Apply past experience and professional knowledge gained to provide solutions.
Install Coabis for inspection campaigns, onboard dive vessels, etc.
Assist with implementation and use of Coabis at client sites.
Provide Coabis training to internal and external clients.
Use of Coabis on behalf of clients – e.g. workpack preparation, data entry, interim and final reporting.
Assist with software testing of Coabis and related products.
Preparation of user guides for Coabis and related products (e.g. bespoke web applications) and training courses.
Provide feedback and assistance to the Coabis development team for future software product improvements.
Provide added value to the development of their discipline / function.
Assist with development of the Coabis business, and promote additional services.
Liaison with client engineering and IT personnel

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Educated to HND / Degree Level.
Candidates/job-holders without the relevant formal qualifications above but possessing other academic or vocational qualifications or who can demonstrate a greater level of relevant practical experience with a proven track-record may be considered equally competent.
• Current Offshore Survival and Fire Fighting Certificate.
• Current Medical Certificate.
Relevant demonstrable experience in inspection and integrity management within the oil and gas industry
Relevant experience using integrity applications (i.e.Coabis)
Relevant demonstrable experience in client liaison/client support with regard to software and/or inspection/integrity operations (subsea or topsides/onshore)
