The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
The role is a Coatings Supervisor within the Onshore Construction team,a large part of the role will involve providing coatings and insulation expertise to both the contractor and company teams and utilising an array of experience to ensure the best and most cost effective construction methods are used during early works and through to EPC execution.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Management of main contractor during EPC early works and through to the execution phase for major coating and insulation related activities within all site construction methodology on the main LNG site, Blaydin Point.
• Ensuring best practice construction considerations and methods are delivered to the project for EPC and related activities.
• Acting as an advisor on construction best practice to senior onshore team members as required from time to time.
• Providing an interface between construction and engineering by supporting discipline engineers during constructability reviews for both company and contractor.
• Providing input to the contractor in relation to module and stick built erection methods and installation sequences; development of scaffolding plans; crane usage plans; manpower planning; Australian legislations; and site preparation.
• Co-ordinating with the Client Operations team to meet design requirements of LNG operability, plant start-up, pre-commissioning and safe operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
For this position you will require the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualification.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Demonstrable experience in the construction of large scale oil and gas projects.
• Demonstrable experience in managing major contractors in multiple scopes, including progress reporting and HSE.
• Strong supervisory skills and ability.
• Strong mentoring capability.
