The Role:
Cogen Operations Specialist

Cogen Ops Specialist is responsible for developing and reviewing Operations, Reliability & Maintenance (ORM) aspects of Cogen design, including selection, specifications, maintenance and reliability requirements. The position is also require to prepare commissioning, start up and shut down procedures and to administer the commissioning program. In addition, the Cogen Ops Specialist is to direct Cogen O&M activities including review and approval of incident/shift reports , do site check & survey for tie-in location. He should understand Mark VIe control system, analyze and resolve issues encountered during Cogen commissioning, startup and normal operation. The position shall transfer ORM knowledge to Mogas Cogen Project team and Refinery operations, Reliability and Maintenance team. Familiarity with operating Cogen plants in Singapore would be an added advantage.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specific experience in operations and maintenance of Cogeneration or combined cycle power plants.

Minimum 10-12 years Cogen operation experience with specific Cogen Commissioning experience. Experience is in operating GTG, HRSG and associated facilities of integrated Cogen plant.
Experience in operating and troubleshooting GE Mark VIe(or equivalent) control system is preferred.
