The Role:
This job description outlines responsibilities for the role of Commercial Administrator, reporting to Commercial Co-ordinator.

Under the direction of the Procurement department, and working alongside the Finance department, performing administrative duties including invoice processing, query resolution, purchasing, reporting and various general bookkeeping duties at Client

DUTIES
Help complete a wide range of finance and purchasing administration duties focusing on timely and accurate processing and matching of purchase invoices with site purchase orders, resolving invoice queries, resolving payment queries, completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations, preparing & supporting payment runs, maintaining spreadsheets, produce reports, contributing towards accurate month-end reporting, document control - filing, photo-copying and scanning.
Provide a friendly, professional & efficient reception service for all enquiries – internal & external, either in-person and via electronic communication.
Direct & support the commercial apprentice through day to day responsibilities.
Help provide and ensure a safe, tidy and welcoming office environment at all times.
Answering telephone calls & resolving queries whenever possible, appropriately forwarding messages clearly and precisely.
Help, prepare and ensure outgoing mail is sent at the required time and incoming mail is correctly distributed in a timely manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
GCSE Math & English A - C grade or equivalent.
2/3 years working in a similar office environment.
Excel/ Word/ Email.
Committed to self-development.
Willing to take appropriate decisions/actions, without line managers consultation.
Demonstrate own initiative by finding ways to complete tasks/solve queries.
Works to time-scales & can cope with changes.
Checking & data input skills.
Good communication skills, willing to speak to other employees, contractors & customers, in person or by email & phone.
Able to plan, organize & manage own workload.
Team member & contributor – willing to take on a variety of tasks to help team/develop self.
Able to travel to work on time.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Information Technology.
Business Studies/Mgt.
AAT Level 3.
Experience in accounts department
