The Company:
Our Client is a major contractor providing consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world's energy, power and process industries. They are the leading Contracting Company to the Oil and Gas Industry in the UK.

The Role:
Purpose / Role
• Assistance in the commercial administration of relevant project/contract in accordance with all relevant org commercial policies and procedures.

Key aims and objectives
• Assistance with the commercial administration of relevant project/contract in accordance with org commercial policies and procedures in order to ensure that commercial entitlement is pursued and obtained in accordance with the terms of the contract.

Prime responsibilities and duties
• Maintain and promote a safe working environment.
• Input to contract administration in accordance with org commercial policies and procedures.
• Administration of onshore/ offshore timesheet and CTR systems
Preparation of project invoicing in accordance with terms and conditions of contract such that cash position maximised.
Preparation of cost/value reporting and end life forecasting on project in accordance with org policies and procedures such that the appropriate values are reflected in the management accounts.
• Assistance with submission of variation and contract amendment requests and claims in accordance with contract requirements
• Assistance with final accounts and close out of contracts in accordance with contract requirements.
• Assistance with administration of sub-contracts in accordance with relevant org policies and procedures and in a manner which optimises orgs’s commercial position.
• Assistance with the preparation of Client cost reports.
• Assistance with the administration of KPI scheme in accordance with the terms of the contract.
• Assistance with the preparation of revised contract rates and prices in accordance with the terms of the contract.
• Assistance with the application of risk management techniques.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Core competencies
• HNC in appropriate business discipline desirable
• Specific competencies to be in accordance with org commercial management competence scheme.
