The Role:
This position is for a Commercial Director based in Aberdeen reporting to the General Manger. This role involves taking on the key responsibility of developing, negotiating and closing new leasing opportunities, designing lease structures with new businesses and penetrating our existing customers. Target market to include companies with revenues sizes ranging from 10MM to 1B, middle market to large companies in the UK, West Africa or other developing off-shore region.
Our industry targets are, petrochemical, chemical and the oil & gas markets. There will be significant tender work in this role and requires the candidate to be confident when presenting to senior management. While expanding our presence this motivated individual will also be responsible to manage, develop and enhance office operations through three direct reports across, technical, customer service and administration.

CANDIDATE ROLE
* Responsible for creating, implementing and executing a strategy to develop business and grow market share in line with objectives;
* Prospecting and managing a limited number of existing client relationships;
* Structuring leasing transactions in-line with our assets and pricing guidelines;
* Lead the preparation & negotiation of proposals/tenders/quotations in response to customers' enquiries;
* Complement and cross-sell to our regional leadership;
* Collect market information relating to customers & lease transactions;
* Oversee and advise on matters related to the day to day administrative functions including operations, finance, reporting, contract management, credit & collections, etc.; and
* Manage staff including setting and maintaining accountability standards, managing daily office tasks to provide consistent quality service, conducting regular marketing meetings and preparing and conducting performance evaluations.

QUALIFICATIONS
* 10 years of B2B experience in the rental or equipment leasing business with a proven track record with our target companies, industries or regions;
* Proven track record in originating, pricing, negotiating and structuring equipment leases;
* Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies is required;
* Knowledge of off-shore tank containers or intermodal industry is highly desirable;
* Ability to absorb and discuss technical aspects of tank containers;
* Managed people or small teams of 3-5 employees;
* Highly organized with strong follow-through and an acute attention to detail;
* Excellent judgment and outstanding analytic, problem-solving and creative thinking skills
* Effective communicator and presenter; and
* Ability to build relationships internally/externally.
