The Company:
Our client is a market leading engineering services company specialising in pumps, gas compressors into the oil and gas, power and energy sectors. To assist in an exciting strategy for growth we are now looking to recruit a Commercial Manager for their Aberdeen office.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibility and activity:

• Managing contracts, commercial agreements and supply renewal / negotiation process with clients, subcontractors and supply chain
• Compilation of commercial contract tenders.
• Provide first line support to the customer support teams in the resolution of commercial and contractual issues.
• Be the key point of contact with corporate legal and contractual representatives.
• To develop and build relationships with current and new customers
• Contractual risk assessments
• Identify and develop strategic opportunities for commercial gain aligned with Group and report on competitive movements and trends.
• Continually working to strategically expand, preserve or improve the companies procedures, standards or policies while sticking to business edicts and regulatory guidelines
• Continual standardisation and simplification of contractual terms, conditions and rates
• Support the company in its drive to create a better, more productive and safer working environment
• Participate in team training and development events
• Encourage team working and seek to shared best practice with co-workers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are therefore looking to receive applications from candidates with the following skills:

• Previous oil and gas services industry experience
• Excellent management and organisational skills
• Ability to manage and co-ordinate commercial activity across a supply chain
• Proven track record and ability to make commercially sound decisions
• A network of industry contacts
• Degree in a commercial or financial discipline – preferred.
• Compliant to work in the EU/UK
