The Company:
An innovative and forward thinking company, providing all types of flanges and mechanical connector products and services for the Oil and Gas industry, are looking for a Commercial manager to Join there growing team based in Norway to develop their existing client base and bring new clients into their portfolio.

The Role:
The Commercial Manager will be operationally active, managing the existing commercial team on a day to day basis, driving the sales function and being an integral part of developing the Northern Europe business.

As a Commercial Manager your main duties will involve:

• Actively visit the larger end-user accounts as a member of the external sales team maintaining and developing strong working relationships with existing and potential customers.
• To participate in the definition of and implementation of the Business Strategy supporting all the marketing research activities and business development initiatives.
• Creates Marketing Communication Plans based on the continuous assessment of the market, report changes in trends to the Regional and Marketing Managers.
• Manages recovery of Sales costs in order to maximize profit
• Growing sales within existing Clients, by promoting all of the company’s services and products, and generate sales growth/profit through the identification and development of new Clients.
• Extend level of contacts within major frame work agreements
• Analyses profit and loss statements for each Client, analyses causes of reduced profit and takes corrective action as required.
• Maintains and maximizes pricing terms and profit margins and prepare accurate forecasts.
• Leading, motivating and coaching other members of the Norway based team to increases productivity.
• Attends industry and customer events to keep abreast of market developments and be continually aware of competitor’s products and services.
• Drive continuous improvement and Maintain quality, safety and environmental standards.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Marketing or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in the oil and gas market and knowledge of Oil and Gas services.
• Experience in account management, sales management and operational management;
• Experience in managing High level industry contracts.
• Experience of forecasting and providing accurate commercial information.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Subsea market would be advantageous
• Driven by results with a can do attitude, with a hands on approach.
• Bringing a strong contribution in creative concept development.
