The Role:
The Commercial Operator ensures the proper execution of commercial contracts, with particular responsibility for understanding and recording sales and distribution activities, credit, invoicing, collection and reporting.

Core Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• Demonstrate and instill an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s Charter and Code of Business Conduct
• Accountable for the end-to-end management of the Marketing supply chain, from production to delivery to customer ensuring all data in systems is accurate
• Prepare invoicing, obtain Marketing Manager approvals and manage coordination and tracking of the same to ensure timely payment is received
• Monitor material movements within the logistics chain, communicate progress and any problems to relevant stakeholders
• Provide logistics information required by stake holders, internal & external service providers, commercial staff, credit and risk team, finance and revenue
• Check gathering, transport and other logistics related invoices for accuracy, ensure Marketing Manager approvals and timely payment are received
• Provide assistance to team members where required and act as back up in their absence if necessary
• Maintain and enhance the Company reputation as a reliable and reputable supplier
• Work closely with the Market Manager and represent the Company externally with customers, suppliers and partners, as needed, to create a positive external image of the Company
• Active involvement with the Asset Management Group
• Monitor and seek to optimize the (cost) efficiency of the overall supply chain
