The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
Job Purpose

Responsible for the research, creation, development and delivery of training courses for Commercial Product Training, Skills Training, After-Sales non-technical training, New-to-Brand Foundation, Sales Induction training courses, and New Product Launch Events, to be delivered to our Global Dealer Network.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks
•Responsible for updating existing courses, writing and developing new courses, and successfully delivering all commercial courses in each region
•Create, develop and deliver New Product Launch Events globally with regional specific content to meet the individual regional customer needs
•Develop a comprehensive, regional specific, in-dealership coaching programme to create a blended training approach with eLearning and formal classroom courses
•Liaise with Sales & Marketing, Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, After-Sales Operations and all relevant internal departments to develop new and existing courses. Be solely responsible for the accuracy of content described in all commercial training materials, which could have a direct bearing on product / legal liability
•Create training material that adds true value, is engaging, imaginative and in line with core brand values and which achieves results and customer satisfaction
•Create marketing assets to encourage continual training development and rewards top achievers
•Deliver commercial training to franchised Dealer staff and internal staff members globally from the Company designated training facilities, also as appropriate from regional locations in all markets
•Prepare and manage the financial budget for commercial training programme development and required delivery resources
•Review all course feedback and apply enhancements where necessary ensuring all our courses are kept up to date with model year changes and competitor new models
•Conduct Train-The-Trainer courses to ensure the Regional Training Executives deliver ‘best in class’ results
•Perform regional Training Needs Analysis to constantly ensure training is relevant and targeted
•Jointly develop, formalise and roll out, the Ignition training programme for new dealer appointments & new dealer staff
•Jointly responsible for setting up and managing the roll out of the Commercial Sales Certification Programme. Develop the certification requirements, course testing, annual assessments/competitions, and rewards recognition.
•Manage multiple suppliers to ensure high standards are always achieved and maintained, in a cost effective manner
•Be responsible at all times for the safety and discipline of delegates attending courses, wherever situated
•Keep up to date with all new training developments by attending relevant exhibitions, conferences, webinars and networking opportunities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience
•Educated to degree level or equivalent
•Extensive experience of the automotive industry and the HLS sector (minimum 4 years ideally)
•Proven record of commercial automotive based training is desirable
•In-depth understanding of the training requirements and needs of the global dealer network
•Clear understanding of automotive sales process, customer purchase journey, and how to create a luxury customer experience at every stage and contact point
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•A full clean driving license is essential
•International travel will be required
•Ability to design exciting and inspirational training courses in a wide range of skills, demonstrating enthusiasm and passion for the brand
•Ability to deliver interactive and involving training courses across a wide range of job functions, to a global Dealer market
