The Role:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will be responsible for performing administrative duties for the Commissioning Group for the Point Thomson project.
Exercising limited judgment performs various assignments of a turnover support nature, both technical and clerical and may work for various Commissioning Leads, if required.
The Commissioning Administrative Assistant shall play an active role in the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
• Works under the direct supervision of experienced Completion Turnover & Commissioning personnel engaged in turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and operations activities.
• Responsible for data input, reporting and progress documentation book-off.
• Assist discipline Completion Turnover & Commissioning personnel in all phases of activities.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing established project procedures relating to safety, work permitting and work order systems; adhering to legal requirements.
• Coordinates commissioning travel requirements including vendors.
• Performs other duties as assigned and requested.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering or Technical degree or equivalent work experience (entry level)
• Entry level position with up to 1 year of experience in associated technical field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, equipment (computers, faxes, printers, scanners, etc.)
• Ability to communicate and interact with employees at all working and management levels
• Ability to build effective relationships with client, engineering, construction, and vendor personnel
• Willing to work a rotation schedule on the North Slope:
• Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills
• Good organization skills and capability of professional letter writing
• Must be willing to work what hours it takes to complete the work in a timely and efficient manner
• Implements, manages, and maintains an effective labor relations program to ensure that work proceeds without disruption
