The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Senior Maintenance Engineer required
During Pre-Comm and Commissioning and Start Up of the units:
Main Point of Contact for C&SU team and activity participation in all C&SU meetings
Update the manpower plan as need based on requirements of support during Pre-Comm and C&SU
Make sure we have the right discipline team leaders in place for his team
Work with Maintenance Scheduler and C&SU Scheduler to have our tasks together with production in just one C&SU schedule
Have meetings with discipline leaders to understand and plan the tasks for Pre-Comm and C&SU.
Leverage in the knowledge, learning and best practices from other envelopes
Keep the C&SU leaders informed about what Maintenance activities and plans
Make sure all C&SU Binder have high quality and quantity and are in place on time
Have constant meetings with each discipline team leaders making sure they know their responsibilities and they are on time in their tasks.
Understand what the EPC will do during Pre Commissioning and plan the team accordingly .

During Normal Operations of the units - Job/Role Summary:
Provides maintenance subject matter expertise on plant issues that impact production over a short period of time.
In this role the technologist provides technical expertise which may be equipment-based or repair technique-based which impacts the availability and maintainability of the system and/or equipment.

Responsibilities:
•Provides experience on failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
•Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.
•During repairs ensure that repair details such as clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, etc. are provided and documented. Provide technical support as needed.
•Ensures repair techniques, repair procedures, and equipment specific training are documented and made available.
•Provide technical support for specification, identification and purchasing of needed parts.
•Provides maintainability input to Six Sigma and other improvement activities.
•As appropriate and required, reviews spare parts list for existing equipment and works with MRO to ensure parts are identified, added and stocked in the MRO system in support of the maintenance strategy.
•Develops maintenance procedures based on Most Effective Technology (MET).
•Participates with RE in developing the equipment maintenance strategy by providing technical and historical information.
•Participates in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy.
•Serves as a technical resource to the planner on work packages.
•During development of turnaround work, provides input on scope of work.
•Evaluates Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) activities and determines appropriate action.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
