The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
Please note that this is a residential position, with an earliest start date of October 2014.

Duties will include:

Define and execute commissioning and start-up strategies and plans that assure and safeguard safety, design and technical integrity, reliability and operability with due respect for life cycle cost considerations.
Ensure the EPCM contractor’s commissioning strategies, procedures, and plans are in line with projects requirements.
Responsible for accepting on company's behalf handover of equipment, systems and facilities from Contractor.
Execute the Project to Asset handover process, ensuring that all regulatory and stakeholder requirements are proactively met.
Set up Systemization (define commissioning systems)
Develop CSU plans.
Set up activity description-logic relationships-resources/vendor support/special tools-temporary facilities-durations
Set up system testing scope
Management and acceptance of punch list and close out items.
Organize CSU reviews and provide close out support of Pre-start Up Audits/Reviews.
Coordination of activities related to commissioning of other project groups such as project services, quality, supply chain and HSSE as appropriate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong experience in gas operations or project engineering positions, with experience in commissioning & start-up.
Good understanding of modern systematic commissioning processes, as well as a detailed knowledge of systems & tools required to deliver successful CSU

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university
