The Role:
The Brownfield CSU Lead will play a leading role in taking the FCP project from construction in Iraq through pre-commissioning and commissioning and handover to operations. The primary objective is to ensure that the project delivers on its original promises, in terms of production, ramp-up, availability, and that it is fully ready for the introduction of hydrocarbon and start up.

The candidate will be expected to demonstrate their Commissioning competencies and proven ability to work with Vendors, contractors in a site construction environment
-Liaise with the Company and Contractor Design Teams in UAE.
-Support and advise operation of the Completions Management System, punchlisting of systems and closeout of punch items.
-Execution of the Commissioning & Start Up Plan and Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning Execution Plan.
-Interface with the Greenfield CSU Lead to ensure alignment of deliverables.
-Execution of Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Procedures, including Systems Testing Procedures.
-Assist and contribute to the Flawless start-up initiative.
-Support the Project to Asset (P2A) Handover strategy to align with Operations handover requirements.
-Provide quality assurance and coaching on systems acceptance and punch listing activities undertaken by the Operations team
-Promote an awareness of safety and safe operation of plant and equipment during all start up and operating conditions
-Contribute to a Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) approach within the Project Teams and Operations to ensure a cost effective and quick ramp up to target operations levels.
-Establish effective communication methods to ensure knowledge sharing and awareness within the Operations team of initial SU activities
-Contribute to the Lessons Learned initiative and development of the CSU Closeout report.
-Work closely with project and operations to help develop SU team skills and competency requirements for initial start up
-Participate in Peer reviews on system and facility start up procedures
-Work closely with Project and Operations personnel to meet the commissioning and start up milestones.
-Ensure risks to the CSU schedule are identified and raised.
-Provide input to the CSU Safety Strategies and HSE awareness.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Higher technical qualification
-Seasoned (+15 years) technical or operations professionals with a background in either of production / maintenance operations, asset management and/or project supervision (e.g. commissioning) with demonstrable experience in the areas of interest for the job.
-Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, with a proven track record.
-Good communication and analytical skills are essential
-Working experience on part of an EP Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front line oil and gas production operations is desirable.
-Exposure to both onshore and offshore operations and/or project experience will be an advantage. In addition, experience in working in harsh geographical and /or technical environments (e.g. temperature extremes, high pressure reservoirs) would be beneficial.
-Having previous experience working in a high concentration H2S environment would also be very desirable.
