The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Role:
As a Commissioning Coordinator Lead you will be working under the direction of the coordinator manager. Your main duties and responsibilities will be the following:

Responsible for integrating transition of commissioning remaining works and base scope into a logic linked schedule for on going Pier, Deep water Site and Offshore commissioning. ..
Review outstanding engineering design and provide comments toward "commissionability" at site through the site query system.
Confirm and develop the commissioning requirements for the offshore scope with the nominated offshore contractor.
Contribute to project execution as appropriate, especially in helping to minimize and control any change towards completion, commissioning and handover.
Ensure appropriate training is provided for client employees and contractors involved in the final commissioning scope of work to offshore completion.
Develop vendor support requirements, budget and scheduling for Deep Water site and Offshore.
Provide support to Operations during the Start Up and Performance testing.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experiences:

Candidate should hold a Degree qualification’ or equivalent education along with manager/lead experience in the field of completions and commissioning.
Have a minimum of 20 years experience in completions and commissioning, of which at least 12-15 years having been in leadership roles.
Track record of experience gained in similar oil and gas related international projects, leading to the development of the following skill sets:
- Commissioning, start-up and operations functions.
- Commissioning completions / certification of systems.
- Commissioning and handover procedures.
- Site Integrity Management (IM) standards and the application of IM to commissioning.
- Control of Work processes during execution
• Previous experience of being responsible for major project commissioning and start ups.
• Previous experience of implementing Permit to Work procedures and execution.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
First consideration will be given to candidates that are local to Newfoundland and Labrador.
