The Role:

To play an active role in ensuring that all Project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
• To process safe completion of system commissioning in line with the project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over in a consistent and timely manner
• To assist in maintenance of project budget through diligence and utilisation of efficient and effective working practices
To oversee compilation of Project Commissioning Dossiers and OTPs.
To develop, plan, coordinate and manage all pre-comm & commissioning activities for the CPF project.To develop, source and lead a multi-discipline team in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the CPF process plant and utilities.
To plan and prepare precommissioning and commissioning Databases & handover documentation using a Project Completion System to ensure the project is constructed, commissioned and certified ready for safe operation.


Identification of sub-system limits and updating of limits in line with latest revision of P&ID's / SLD's [in conjunction with completions personnel]
• Supervise and support Commissioning Technicians in the execution of their daily activities
• Verification of the Completions / commissioning management database in line with applicable project procedures and latest design data.
• Completion of Commissioning Function Test Procedures (FTP's) and liaison with construction and completions personnel .
• Verification and acceptance of mechanical completion and commissioning handover packages in line with the agreed system handover schedule.
• Ensuring commissioning data, documentation and handover are in accordance with project procedures.
• Adherence to all applicable site/project safety procedures / active participation in all company/project safety initiatives.
• Status reporting of commissioning progress as required by the project.
• Identification & sourcing of Commissioning tools / spares / consumables
• Production of commissioning work packs in line with project procedures
• Co-ordination of equipment vendors / subcontractors during commissioning activities.
• Identification of PTW requirements and the raising of applicable permits to cover commissioning work scope
• Provide input into execution of Commissioning audit reviews
• Provide input into competency assurance process
• Provide input into budget management and cost control
• Provide input into planning process as requested
• Provide input into safety reviews / walk-rounds

Be Responsible for the Health, Safety, Security and protection of the environment at the workplace,participate in the HSSE trainings according to compentency maps and contribute to integrate HSSE into the company culture.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree in Engineering and 5 years oil & gas commissioning experience, or Engineering qualification in relevant discipline and minimum 10 years oil and gas commissioning experience.

Must have commissioning experience working with multi discipline teams on various project sizes and scopes in the Oil & gas Industry. Must have good understanding of hydro-carbon processes, knowledge of instrument, electrical and control systems and be familiar with structured work methodologies.
Strong personality with highly developed skills in leadership and communication.
Highly motivated and a self starter, team player, good decision making.
Efficient is the use of Project Completion System WinPCS.
