The Role:
Position Purpose
• Provide support to the development of the FLNG HVAC pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up planning activities.
• Play a key assurance role in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Our client project FLNG HVAC facilities in the SHI yard, during sea trails, tow and offshore commissioning up to RFSU.
• Act as focal point for Living quarter commissioning and start up.
Principal Accountabilities
• Support commissioning of the multiple Marine and Offshore HVAC systems throughout the FLNG facility, fully understand the FLNG HVAC design, associated drawings and specification requirements and be competent in air and water balancing activities.
• To have sufficient knowledge of electrical and control systems to be able to overview commissioning and acceptance of the HVAC control systems.
•Provide support in the commissioning of the Living Quarters based on a knowledge of Offshore LQ designs, regulations, construction and outfitting practices.
• Provide support to the development of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up procedures and CSU management tools (including CSU schedule, Completions systems) for the Substructure HVAC facilities and their interfaces with the Topsides units.
• Provide support to the safe & efficient execution of the EPCI Contractor's pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure that at RFSU, he will handover to the Asset organization systems that are clean, tight and fully tested. Participate in witnessing of tests and checks as well as punchlisting activities as per the ITP's, this activity includes FAT's as required.
• Manage HSE within area of responsibility including ensuring compliance with regulations and Company HSE Management System elements such as HEMP and AIPSM.
• Provide support to the FLNG FPD Coordinator to verify and report on the status of the implementation of the FPD program
• Act as CSU team focal point for the project to asset transfer activities related to the Substructure HVAC facilities to ensure a seemless handover at the RFSU milestone including sign-off of the associated VCR and Statement of Fitness elements.
• Transfer knowledge and support development of local Australian technicians who will form part of the offshore operations crew.
Dimensions
• Equipment includes Chiller plant 2 x 4MW, 31 AHU's, 27 FCU's, 35 water/air cooling units, 260 F&G dampers, +300 Miscellaneous dampers.
Special Challenges
• Our client project FLNG is an integrated project covering the whole value chain from wells via subsea facilities to gas processing systems up to and including ship to ship transfer. At the same time it encompasses a merger of 3 worlds: offshore, marine and LNG with only partial precedence to date.
• Our client project FLNG project includes one of the largest substructure offshore Hotel and Utility facilities scope to date and the first that will integrate with LNG Topsides facilities. Key challenge will be to convert the associated issues into opportunities.
• Commissioning integration will happen offshore with naturally limited resources and high exposure to delays affecting start-up and cargo ramp-up (hence, needs near perfect preparations).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience and Qualifications required
• Ten years experience in Marine and Offshore HVAC systems including Chilled water systems, Water and air-cooled DX / condensing units, fan coil units, Package self-contained units, Cabins units, terminals, diffusers and accessories, Cold room and freezer evaporators, room controllers and timer panels, F&G interface, local AHUs, refrigeration valves, separators, condensers, and accessories, Fire and hydrocarbon rated dampers, blast dampers, duct work and large mechanically ventilated spaces.
• Familiarity with international Marine standards, ASHRAE, SMACNA, European Standards, DIN, and standard industry practices.
• Incumbent needs to be a team player able to achieve results through others, self propelling
• Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills, coaching staff in multicultural environments.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• International experience with leading multicultural organizations is preferred
