The Role:
The post holder will focus on the mechanical commissioning scope, but with potential to extend the role to incorporate start-up and operations readiness activities to suit the post holder’s experience and development needs. Accountabilities will include:

•Developing commissioning procedures for the project scope, capturing input from other disciplines where necessary
•Lead the implementation of the commissioning procedures both on site and in the module fabrication yard
•Identify requirements for specialist support services, develop scopes of work and act as focal point for vendors as required
•Contribute to the development of the Inspection & Testing Plan, ensuring certification requirements are appropriately defined for commissioning scope and are delivered

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience as a commissioning or operations engineer in the petrochemical industry
•Prior experience of writing commissioning or operating procedures
•A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
•Commitment to the highest standards of HSE
•Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
•Strong planning, organisational and teamworking skills
