The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
This position is working a 6/2 rotation.

Key accountabilities:
(Before going to site)
•Develop startup commissioning plans
•Participate in Work Pack preparation and reviews of projects
•Ensure that the GOC processes are in place for the safe and cost effective start-ups of the series of brownfield modifications to Produced Water and Sand systems, across four offshore platforms
•Work with and ensure the engineering contractors develop the handover testing documentation.
•Assist the Project Leaders with preparing cost estimates and schedules

(Onsite)
•Act as the commissioning focal point for coordinating commissioning with the construction teams and engineering disciplines
•Execute the offshore commissioning plans
•Provide trouble-shooting support during commissioning and post start-up
•Provide technical assurance that construction activities are performed and completed to the required project standards in compliance with the GOC completions database
•Ensure handover of completed projects through GOC process, including reviews of handover packages and discipline site activities
•Ensure that punch lists and engineering queries are closed out prior to handover to operations
•Liaise with discipline engineers when necessary, e.g. elec/inst/mech/process
•Ensure that any changes to the commissioning strategy or the facilities design are managed in accordance with the appropriate management of change (MoC) process
•Where appropriate, accept delegation as commissioning authority during commissioning
•Ensure that commissioning activities are co-ordinated and managed across the disciplines
•Provide detailed commissioning records including daily reports and shift handover notes
•Work with and assure the onsite construction teams perform the GOC requirements for testing, documentation and handover
•Ensure that operating and maintenance manuals are either updated or produced prior to handover to operations
•Anticipate and resolve problems encountered in the field to eliminate costly rework or re-testing
•Act as a role model to promote a robust HSE culture in the project community
•Work with and assure that Operations understand the GOC process and requirements
•Conduct advanced safety audits and other safety observations to help achieve a zero incident culture
•Co-ordinate the capture and sharing of best practices and lessons learnt within AGT Region

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Strong project management knowledge including knowledge of project schedule management
•Experience in using GOC to commission
•Experience of commissioning brownfield projects
•Experience of the operating strategy and operations goals for Produced Water and Sand systems
•Experience working in engineering, project management, or construction management roles
