The Role:
The main function of a commissioning engineer is to perform review the design and verify the installation and operation of all systems in the newly developed facilities to ensure the successful operability of these systems. Responsibilities:- Reviews designs and provides input to the Facilities Engineering Team to ensure Hookup, Commissioning and Start-Up activities are optimized. - Develops Project Completions Strategy, Execution Plan etc consistent with selected concept and contract strategy to minimize offshore work and project duration from yard completions to start-up. - Develops high level HUC activity durations and cost estimates in conjunction with Business Team. - Participates in Engineering Team HAZIDs etc - Adopts project IIF culture and proactively supports team's Safety Management Plans. Skills: - Have strong technical background. - Work in a very project oriented culture. - Have strong project execution focus. - Good spoken and written English is required; secondary language a plus. - Ability to complete and pass pre-employment background and drug test. - Must be willing and available to travel within the U.S. Education/Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's in a related engineering field. - 2-4 years of experience
