The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
• Work for an International Oil & Gas company on their CSG assets
• Long term contract role (12 to 24 months)
• Attractive Brisbane location, followed by a rotation of 19/9.

In this role you will spend the first three to six months in Brisbane writing and establishing commissioning procedures, following this you will move into a FIFO roster during implementation.

During your time in Brisbane, you will be represent the commissioning function for the pipeline projects and start-up with specific responsibility for developing pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for the Gas Collection Header, Export Pipeline and Pipeline Facilities (inc. Receipt and Delivery Stations). The focus of this role is to develop and evaluate/approve procedures for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up performance testing of the pipeline, and associated process equipment.

Following on from this, you will lead a team of Multi-Discipline Commissioning Technicians at site during the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases of the project.

You will be responsible for:
• Ensuring the EPC contractor achieves quality Mechanical Completion and Handover Systems
• Developing Pipeline System Discipline and System Commissioning Procedures
• Leading changes and modifications arising from Operation requirements
• Coordinate changes to the maintenance program and spares requirements arising from projects

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, or equivalent years experience
• Strong background in Mechanical Completion and Discipline Commissioning and Handover on high pressure gas pipeline systems and terminals
• History of developing and implementing discipline commissioning procedures, ideally on gas pipelines and associated equipment / controls
• Experience work with High Pressure / Low Pressure Interfaces
• Understanding of metering systems

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered membership to a relevant engineering institution
