The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced Commissioning HSE Lead, to join this major operator working on their very latest LNG Project in Darwin. Using your knowledge and experience, you will have responsibility for supervising the pre-commissioning and commissioning effort, ensuring that related work activities are carried out in accordance with the HSE requirements of the Company.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Providing LNG Specific expertise to the commissioning and startup teams to assist in the development of SIMOPS and Startup plans including performing risk assessments and ensuring that operational test procedures are adequately risk assessed.
• Providing input and oversight to the development of Contractor’s commissioning HSE plans and procedures.
• Maintaining and communicating HSE performance statistics to Project head office and corporate safety and environmental policies to the HSE team
• Acting as point of contact for all HSE matters for relevant activities, liaising and interfacing with relevant personnel ensuring compliance is met on plans and procedures.
• Developing OHS procedures and implementing programs where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will need to have a relevant HSE tertiary qualification along with extensive demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:
• A minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas facilities with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior LNG roles.
• Proven skills in developing, implementing, maintaining and auditing occupational health and safety procedures and programs.
• Demonstrable pre-commissioning / Commissioning / SIMOPS experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong presentation skills.
