The Company:
Assignment description:
Project: 90/10 : Onshore – offshore
Rotation: 6 – 1 - 1

This Project/position will go through several phases
1) Start in Stavanger
2) Kuala Lumpur, Follow up Engineering with respect to the commissioning phase
3) South Korea, execute commissioning
4) Final commissioning offshore - Norwegian CS, according to project priorities.

The Role:
Responsibilities related to position

Commissioning Instrument engineer is responsible for Commissioning preparations and executing within the project.
Including but not limited to:

• Contribute to the development of commissioning plan with safety milestones
• Develop and maintain commissioning procedures
• Produce red line drawings and as-builts when required
• Prepare for and divide systems into commissioning packages
• Participate in FAT activities various locations
• Scheduling and co-ordinate work to tight deadlines
• Ensure equipment works to specification
• Review job packs
• Liaison with Contractor with respect to commissioning preparation, e.g:
- Commissioning plan
- Commissioning procedures
- Commissioning temporaries
- Commissioning spares
• Monitor Contractors’ commissioning preparation and execution
• Liaison with vendors with respect to hook-up and commissioning
• Execute own commissioning and lead a team of commissioning engineers and support personnel with on-going loop testing
• Handle handovers, prepare and issue RFOC for all systems to Plant Integrity/Operations

General tasks within area of responsibility
• Provide necessary input for cost estimation of selected solutions
• Ensure that HSE acceptance criteria, objectives and strategies are satisfied
• Implement all relevant regulatory and company requirements
• Perform examination and verification activities for own work
• Identify project risks and participate in risk assessments
• Identify technological challenges and ensure necessary work to close technology gaps and issues
• Ensure that all relevant technology aspects are addressed to the right level
• Provide technical support for the ongoing contracts and other parts of the project
• Follow-up of budgets, plans and schedules
• Ensure experience transfer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o University degree/Bachelor of science or equivalent.
o Minimum 6 years experience from multi-discipline projects.
o Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education.
o Good knowledge of statutory regulations is a requirement.
o English, oral and written
