The Role:
Under the management of the Commissioning Site Leader (CSL), the Instrumentation Supervisor is responsible for the preparation & the execution of all matters related to the instrumentation during the Commissioning activities.The Instrumentation Supervisor shall as well witness & challenge as much as possible the Construction & Pre-commissioning instrumentation activities performed by project.

During Pre-commissioning & Commissioning preparation phase :

- To participate / review the Sub-system breakdown
- To participate / review the ICAPS© database population related to his discipline
- To review the Pre-commissioning & Commissioning dossiers
- To prepare Commissioning procedures & OTPs in his discipline as required
- To comment CTR’s document in due time
- To control the quality of the documentation issued by each Project’s CTR in his own discipline
- To report to the CSL on the progress of his activities (applicable as well during the Execution phase)
- To assist as required the CSL (applicable as well during the Execution phase)
- To ensure all spare parts related to his discipline are planned to be purchased by the Project
- To ensure all required tools & consumables related to his discipline will be available for the Execution phase
- To prepare RLO, JRA & other related presentations (PowerPoint) for his discipline

During the Pre-commissioning & Commissioning execution phase:

- To anticipate problems in his discipline from the construction up to the start-up, and to report to the CSL
- To initiate corrective & remedial actions as soon as any deviation is noticed
- To liaise with other disciplines leader to ensure the consistency of the work
- To witness the Construction & Pre-commissioning activities
- To ensure that Project’s CTRs are working in accordance with the Company GS
- To ensure that Project’s CTRs are providing required red line mark-up & as built documents according to Project specification
- To optimise the instrumentation Commissioning activities being proactive in term of planning requirement
- To supervise Company Commissioning instrumentation team
- To coordinate with FPSO instrumentation team during operations to ensure compliance/acceptance of the works
- To review or approve Pre-commissioning dossiers at RFC status for his discipline
- To review, validate & ensure the approval of Commissioning dossiers at AOC status for his discipline
- To review, follow-up & propose remedial action of Project’s Punch Lists for his discipline
- To ensure the management of Commissioning spare parts with the support of the Commissioning team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-10 years experience in Instrumentation Commissioning / Field Operations activities
• Knowledge of ICAPS© software & OPERCOM Methodology is mandatory
• Experience in subsea would be appreciated
• Previous work Offshore experience is mandatory
• Brownfield experience would be appreciated
• Experience on preparation of Commissioning procedures & OTPs is mandatory
