The Role:
•Responsibilities and Main Function:
• The Commissioning Lead for Area Completion shall support the Commissioning Manager to ensure the coordination and execution of all Area Completion activities throughout the Project. It is expected that the Completion Area lead actively participates in multidiscipline work processes and assists in the development of Commissioning plans, guidelines, manuals, procedures and also
•Participate and contribute to system completion activities (Multidiscipline)


•Roles and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for Area Completion disciplines Commissioning activities throughout the project.
•Ensure that HSE&Q policies and procedures are adhered to in all phases of the work.
•Provide guidance and leadership on all matters relating to Area Completion disciplines
•Assist in project completion planning development and implementation of such plans.
•Be actively involved in the Commissioning preparations phase, and provide Commissioning input to Engineering and design as appropriate for all Area disciplines
•Identify resources, lead, organize and control Area discipline Commissioning Engineers in a manner that ensures the groups goals and targets are met in a safe, timely and correct manner.
•Follow up on Commissioning performance and make recommendations for improvements and mitigating actions if needed.
•Ensure that Area Commissioning requirements are properly evaluated and requested as part of the evaluation criteria and masking for all relevant procurement items.
•Participate and contribute to system completion activities (Multidiscipline)
•Monitor progress and assess progress reports issued by Suppliers/Vendors related to construction related issues
•Develop Commissioning procedures for Area Completion together with discipline engineers and operations personnel.
•Ensure that the discipline completions documentation is adhered to and completed within the PIMS CMS system in a timely and correct manner.
•Define necessary test equipment, temporaries, tools and commissioning spare parts for all Areas
•Follow-up and participate in MC activities, assuring that the contractor meet the development project handover schedule.
•Advocate and contribute to the good working relationship and environment within the Commissioning group, as well as between Company and Contractors organisations at sites.
•Coordinate contractor support on Commissioning and start-up activities.
•Participate in the handover process from Commissioning to Operations for all Area Disciplines

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Education: Chartered Engineer (MSc)/Engineer (BSc
•Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience.
•Experience:
•15 years plus of Oil and Gas experience from new platform and topsides modifications projects
•Working knowledge and experience with Norwegian offshore Engineering & Construction codes
•and standards.
•Experience with EPC type contracts
•Proven experience in Commissioning and Area Completion
•Experience in working with SE Asian Contractors
•Fluent in English verbal and written

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Good knowledge of Norwegian North Sea regulatory codes, standards and practices.
•Experience of and aptitude for working in a diverse cultural environment
•Prepared and willing to travel and commute
•Some knowledge of Scandinavian language is an advantage.
