The Company:
A Major Operator

The Role:
Coordinating CSU activities working closely with ECU and PE Unit CSU Leads and assure integration across the pillars.
Coordinating the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, both in the planning and execution phase.
Assuring that the project scope is divided up into systems and handover groups that are defined in a manner that will support ease of completions and commissioning.
Working with the commissioning team for other pillars to set priorities for system turnover that allows for productive simultaneous operations (simops) that allows for safe commissioning of systems while the construction contractor completes and turns over the remaining systems.
Working with MWC to ensure GoCompletions scope is properly defined and managed, including defining appropriate status reports.
Specific responsibilities for OSBL area include:
Working closely with OSBL operations focal point to prioritize OSBL area pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Assuring that the System Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Procedures (SCPs) are developed, approved, and finalized per the planning schedule and include the appropriate content and detail to assure safe and thorough commissioning.
Assuring that the Commissioning execution plan includes the materials, special tools, and vendor support for a safe and productive pace.
Assuring that the commissioning staffing plan has the correct number of persons with the appropriate skills to execute the commissioning work.
Representing the Commissioning team in key meetings with interfacing departments (Operations, Engineering, etc.).
Supporting project Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) including: reviewing procedures, assigning resources, periodically attending FAT, and adjusting commissioning scope to integrate FAT successes and deficiencies
Developing, tracking, and adjusting commissioning execution schedule.
Working with engineering and operations department to promptly find the preferred alternative for alleviating issues discovered during commissioning.
Leading the on-site for commissioning activities, including resource management, schedule coordination, materials/tools/vendor support, system/equipment troubleshooting, and adjusting plan due to resource issues.
Assisting in the development of commissioning spare parts listing and quantities.
Individual will be expected to interface effectively with project personnel (project leadership and engineering staff), operations team, contract field construction personnel, and vendor support staff.
Individual will work in a team environment and must be able to quickly understand the roles of those in the interfacing teams, develop quick relationships, and work effectively to assure that the commissioning work integrates well in the overall project plan.
