The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Commissioning Manager for a long term project within Kazakhstan

Accommodation/Flights: provided
Duration: 12 month rolling contract
Working pattern: residential within Aktau eventually turning into 28/28 rotation

Ensuring that the CSF, COF Project is commissioned on time, to the required standard and with no HSE issues
Ensuring all commissioning documentation is completed and handed over to the client
Management of full commissioning lifecycle from commencement of systems identification to final Handover.
Specific Tasks
Developing pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
Coordinate of interdisciplinary interfaces and materials.
Managing the commissioning team(including supplier commissioning staff)
Undertaking systems walk downs and generating punch lists
Handles progress reporting at all levels.
Ensuring close out of punch lists
Supervises commissioning field activities.
Prepares the commissioning dossiers.
Ensures safe execution of all commissioning activities through the application of the work permit procedure.
Defines commissioning work packages and prepare the relevant procedures with the assistance of discipline engineers.
Provide technical input to ensure technical completeness and integrity of constructed facilities. Maintain accurate records (as-built mark-ups, punch lists, etc.);
Coordinates activities of vendor representatives and subcontractors.
Provide responses to technical queries from the Client.
Provide adequate commissioning documents such as redline drawings, commissioning packages vendor/manufacturers' drawings, spare parts lists, equipment Operating and Maintenance manuals, plant operating and start‐up manuals and calculation records to client
Monitors and coordinates, in collaboration with Project Management Team, all commissioning activities for all systems until handover to operations to ensure objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
Academic / Professional Qualifications

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering( Electrical/Mechanical)
Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Commissioning Manager in the oil/gas sector.
Very good knowledge of process plant commissioning (sewerage treatment, desalination experience would be an added advantage)
Ability to work without close supervision in a high pressure environment
Ability to lead multi‐ discipline commissioning teams and manage multiple priorities and produce results under stressful conditions in a demanding and challenging environment.
Systems orientated
Fluent in English(spoken and written)
Experience of completions procedures
