The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are recruiting for a Commissioning Materials Coordinator. On offer is a 6 month contract, 28/28 roster.

Key responsibilities include:
• Accountable on all materials matters concerning the required plans, procedures, schedules etc for the Downstream projects Commissioning programme.
• Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, Materials Management and Warehousing groups to ensure the supply of materials and equipment in a timely manner to support Commissioning activities.
• Identify and report and slippage to critical material and equipment which may endanger the Commissioning schedule to the Preservation and Maintenance managers.
• Liaise with SCM and Maintenance Planners to procure and expedite Maintenance materials.

Key responsibilities included within the preservation process but are not limited to:
• Assess Vendors supply performance and make recommendations, where applicable, to the Preservation and Maintenance managers to address key issues
• Recommend interventions/mitigations where trends, concerns, deviations from agreed procedures merit, in order to ensure delivery of material and equipment are aligned with the Commissioning schedule.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In this position you will be required to exert a high influence on the downstream project teams across all phases and locations to ensure successful delivery of materials and equipment.

Key competencies requirements include:
• Strong understanding, experience and knowledge of Materials and Equipment
• Strong understanding and experience of Materials Management and related systems including QA/QC, Quarantine
• Strong understanding of the issues surrounding materials and supply during all phases of supply.
• Good knowledge of the project technical specifications wrt materials handling.
• Good knowledge of Quarantine processes and the potential to impact supply
• Good coordination, communications and Influencing skills.
• Good general understanding of project procedures and requirements with regard to construction, testing, plant inspection, commissioning and start-up.
• You will need a valid white card and MSIC card and require driving training.
