The Company:
Our client is a major operator in the Oil and Gas sector

The Role:
• Using independent contractor commissioning plans to develop and integrate an overall project commissioning schedule from system handover through to start-up of facility
• Monitor all contractors commissioning schedules and advise management of any deviations / slippages to milestone dates and advise on possible mitigations to be taken.
• Use contractors system completion database to validate status of sub-systems and ensure all contractors are working in-line with system handover /completion priorities
• Reviews project changes to evaluate detail schedule impact; responsible for incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes in the overall schedule. Makes recommendations as to their acceptability
• Liaising with other members of the project team on the day to day analysis of job status
• Review and approve weekly and monthly commissioning progress measurement reports from contractors. Validate contractors monthly invoices and produce monthly cost reports
• Input into weekly and monthly reports
• Assist in the development and maintaining of the department budget cost estimates

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline preferred



• Extensive cost and commissioning planning experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Experience of working in remote overseas locations with a multi-cultural workforce
• Experience of Primavera P6 planning software and must be able to perform CPM scheduling and analysis, and work-around planning
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and be able to interact and interface with both contractors and clients project and operations team
• Possess good analytical and leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical report writing capabilities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
French would be advantageous but not mandatory
