The Role:
My Client is seeking a Commissioning Rotating Equipment Supervisor on a rotational basis for an offshore project to be located in Kazakhstan.

Company - Client
28/28 day rotation
Hours – up to 12 hours per day
mob/demob/rotation flights provided (Economy class)
Day rate + Offshore uplift and out of country uplift
Candidates must have offshore medicals & offshore certs in place.
Duties:

Must have experience with either Siemans or Man Turbo
Interface with EP Commissioning Offshore and Offshore Superintendents and Managers
Liaise with Offshore and Offshore Operations Superintendents and Managers
Liaise with Corporate HSE and Technical departments
Work closely with project and operations to help develop SU teams skills and competency requirements for initial start up
Qualifications:
The job holder must have : Engineering Degree or Higher Technical qualification
Experience: Seasoned (+5 years) technical or operations professionals with a background in either of production / maintenance operations, asset management and/or project supervision (e.g. commissioning) with demonstrable experience in the areas of interest for the job.
Exposure to both Offshore and Offshore operations and/or project start-up experience.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience
Having previous experience working in a high concentration H2S environment would also be desirable.
Regulatory and procedural materials for rotating equipment systems; including Kazakh and International regulations (ISO, BS EN, etc). Knowledge of Kazakh and International regulations for hazardous facilities is required in particular;
Mechanical equipment of production facilities and applicable maintenance rules;
Design, operating principle and specifications of rotating equipment;
Typical failure modes and troubleshooting procedures; root cause analysis (RCA) basics (Apollo RCA methodology, etc.);

Ability to lead international staff
Proactive approach to the decision making process

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or Higher Technical Qualification
Must have Offshore Certificate in Place
Must be able to provide copies of all Qualifications
