The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects across Western Australia. A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a Deputy Project Manager to be based on site - FIFO opportunity only.

The Role:
A role has arisen for a Commissioning Site Deputy Manager reporting directly to the Commissioning Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
• Responsible for all commissioning activities across the EPC staff, subcontractors or vendors
• Effectively implement HSE Projects and assist with the client in start up phase.
• Establishing objectives and strategies for the complete commissioning phase.
• Developing commissioning organisation to put the strategies and objectives into effect
• Directing the development and implementation of a comprehensive management and operational plan for the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up of the plant through performance test and plant acceptance.
• Developing pre-commissioning, commissioning and project completion schedules working alongside the commissioning planner.
• Developing cost estimates for the commissioning scope of works.
• Directs the pre-commissioning, commissioning and emergency response procedures during the course of the project
• Ongoing development of HSE activities and implement and monitor the Project HSE Management System.
• Directs all subcontractor personnel assigned to the commissioning group and all client personnel assigned until facility acceptance.

This is a 12 month rolling contract through to January 2016.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• LNG and or gas processing proven extensive experience within a Commissioning Manager or Operations Manager level role
• A solid understanding of Costing, Scheduling, Quality Management, HSE and Project Scope throughout the commissioning phase is essential for this position
• Solid leadership and a proven ability to inspire a team to reach project goals is also essential for this position.
• Chemical/Mechanical Engineer with proven extensive past exposure to LNG or gas processing commissioning operations
