The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider for blue-chip companies in the UK.

The Role:
Provide technical support to the Commissioning Support Team and routine reporting on the status of Commissioning Support Systems
Principle Accountabilities:
Safety Accountabilities
Ensuring that any commissioning support activities are carried out in accordance with all Site Licence, environmental and industrial requirements.
Technical Support Delivery Accountabilities
Management of the Fault Observation (FOB) system, FOB progress management and routinely reporting of FOB status to the CSM
Management of the Temporary Commissioning Aids (TCAs)/Software Temporary Commissioning Aids (STCA) systems, TCA/STCA progress management and reporting routinely of TCA/STCA status to the CSM
Management of IAC equipment (including test equipment) and ensuring accurate and appropriate calibration of the various items of equipment is undertaken in a timely manner to ensure IAC operation are able to progress in line with the programme requirements
Management and tracking of all job cards raised and provide initial interpretation of completed returned job cards. Input the associated data onto the tracking system to ensure accurate and correct closure of the job cards.
Compilation and recording of maintenance results based upon interpretation of maintenance prompts
Tracking the progress of Vendor sub-contracts their onsite works including vendor site access arrangements and maintaining accurate records relating to vendors activities

Additional Accountabilities
Timely control of all incoming/outgoing documentation including its distribution, storage and backup (hard and electronic copies).
Management of the IAC Team competence records and training records.
Management of new starters including arranging any required training courses
Management of the maintenance record system for the IAC Team equipment maintenance and for issuing of associated job cards.
Create IAC Team Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions. Take an oversight of progressing POs/PRs through the system; these will cover items such as commissioning spares, Vendor contracts and PPE.
Timesheet management and audits for the IAC Team.
Issue and receipt of commissioning documents, requiring review, on behalf of the producers/implementers. Processing the revision control of electronic and paper copies of Commissioning Support documentation, collation of review comments and completion of amendments/document formatting.
Processing the receipt, collation, storage and cataloguing of Commissioning Support documentation, including items such as vendor maintenance information, onsite maintenance records to produce a readily accessible electronic database and prompt system.
Support to the Commissioning Support Manager and the Commissioning Support Team.
Provide deputy and absence cover for other Commissioning Support Team members within the other areas of the Commissioning Team (as required).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of establishing, setting to work and managing managerial control systems and processes
Experience of ensuring quality standards are achieved an maintained for all undertaken activities
Experience of accurate electronic and paper document handling and clerical duties involving commercially protected or sensitive material.
Familiar with use and development of spreadsheets and databases
Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office software
Ability to work in a cohesive team and deliver high quality technical documents/output to a tight programme, remaining flexible to demands of work and colleagues.
