The Role:
Job Description

My client is looking for a Commissioning Utilities Supervisor who will;

• Report to Site Commissioning Manager while at POC and Utilities Superintendent at Barrow Island
• Develop commissioning procedures and manuals
• Prepare requisitions for commissioning tools/equipment/consumables
• Prepare commissioning subcontracts requests for bids
• Support commissioning schedule development
• Ensure that completions record sheets are properly filled out and that the Company’s representatives have signed the necessary records. Previous experience with ZENATOR or other similar completion program would be a benefit
• Ensure adherence to established procedures, and assisting Commissioning Area Superintendent in matters pertaining to commissioning and start up
• Verification/witnessing of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in the field
• Ensure the HSE requirements as defined by the commissioning and HSE procedures are adhered to
• Ensure effective reporting of pre-commissioning and commissioning progress
• Supports FSI Program in respect key success areas (cleanliness, tightness) identified
• Must be able to do shift work

FIFO on a 20/10 day rotation from anywhere in Australia. The first 1 - 4 week will be based in Perth conducting inductions/training and then move to the regular rotation up to Chevron's Gorgon Project on Barrow Island (BWI). Apply now!

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years process or pre-commissioning/Commissioning experience in a gas(hydrocarbon) and / or petrochemical plant
• A minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a pre-commissioning, commissioning and operational atmosphere. Previous experience with LNG/Ethylene/NGL plant would be a benefit
• Must have worked with a Permit to Work System as well as be able to initiate, fill out and check the required permits in their assigned area and understand their interfaces with other disciplines.
• Be Computer literate using Microsoft Word and Excel.
