The Role:
Location: Songkhla Based
Job Responsibilities;
• Handling with departure report of incoming vessel in mail box then issue vessel arrival and remaining on board via email and hard copy to all concerned.
• To update and record vessel info both inward and outward into 3 main important files which Summary Report. Vessel turnround and Pilot on board.
• Handling. Record and Update all vessel and any other information concerning with Radio Room Operation into radio room electronic database e.g. Vessel Shifting. Vessel Shifting. Vessel delay departure report and Fresh water top up from PSB jetty etc.
• To prepare the Daily Bulk Movement Report by daily updating bulk info from supply boat. This information is collected from ROB reports submitted by each vessel that arrive Songkhla port on each particular day, and the load out manifest from Shipping & Receiving group. After that, send out this email into relevant department. (Email must be send out within 1100 hrs everyday
• During the day when each vessel arrives or departs from Songkhla, the communication clerk will have to update crew and passenger list into the POB Tracking database.
• To forward the Bulk Report to the Marine Control and other relevant as soon as it is received everyday and another copy must be given to the Shipping & Receiving group. Also, save it into radio room electronic database.
• To print the Navigation Hazards Report and post this report on the board in front of radio room as soon as it is received everyday and save it into radio room electronic database.
• To forward Daily Vessel Schedule Report email, this is sent by the Dock and Transportation Group to all relevant parties then save it into radio room electronic database.
• Issuing BAC test email daily to Medic by using information from vessel schedule, also save it into radio room electronic database.
• Issuing Daily vessel report via email and fax to Songkhla pilot booking and also save it into radio room electronic database.
• To inform and booking SKL pilot via telephone for both arrival and departure vessel. Also to coordinate with agency for pilot pick up.
• Keep update and record the amount of water that vessel is top up from PSB jetty.
• To record BBS of security unit into the SCM Thailand database by monthly.
• Issuing contractor morning meeting at the main meeting room.
• To prepare monthly contractor morning meeting at the main meeting room.
• Receipt and transmit email/facsimile/telephone communication to and from domestic and overseas and make necessary copies and distribution as required.
• Any assigned other duties by Supervisors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification:
• Bachelor degree in any fields.
• English Language TOEIC minimum 500.
• Ability to communicate with all relevant parties in radio room operation. (both Thai and English)
• Able to utilize PC and minimum require programs on Microsoft Excel, word, Access, Power Point, Photoshop & U-lead program.
• 1-2 years experience on clerical and/or communications related jobs.
• Good Telephone manners.
• Good service minded.
