The Company:

The Role:

•Stakeholder management
o Stakeholder analysis and engagement; managing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholder groups involving communicating on a face to face basis and via phone and email. Also involves stakeholder database management.
•Events planning and management for a variety of different events
o Handling all aspects of event management from small to large scale events and presence at industry conferences
•Writing and editing materials for both internal and external audiences
o Including development of project newsletter and development of project materials
•Assist in the development of communications strategy and activity planning
•Senior leadership support – preparing briefing materials and presentations
•Internal communications
•Website management and responding to external queries
•Communicate complex topics to non technical audiences
•Some budgetary involvement
With future opportunities to: Support to the wider Upstream Communications team at social investment events and on the emergency response team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualification or experience in corporate communications, marketing, management or similar
• Experience in/knowledge of the oil and gas industry
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and management
• Experience in events management
• Proven oral and written communications skills
• Experience in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• The ability to travel if requested, likely to London.
