The Role:
• Develop, co-ordinate and execute internal communications programme and campaigns across multiple sites.
• Deliver regular communications for all staff through a range of channels ensuring consistency and clarity of messages.
• Ownership of company intranet – management and support of editors network, creation of content and responsible for homepage updates.
• Provide internal communications advise and support colleagues at all levels on effective internal change communications strategies and techniques.
• Support the development of communications strategy, messages and plan for business transformation programme.
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior management, project managers and colleagues in business functions supporting them with the creation and delivery of tailored communications plans for their projects or initiatives.
• Co-ordination of Sponsorship activities.
• Provide advise and support for internal events, presentations and cross-collaboration opportunities.
• Support of crisis communications.
Management and maintenance of rolling communications plan.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Solid understanding of managing internal communications channels within a Corporate Communications function or agency, have well-developed critical/analytical and decision making abilities as well as being able to work independently and manage multiple pieces of activity simultaneously.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant degree.
• Significant experience in a similar role with a track-record of developing and executing multi-channel communication programmes.
• Experience of design and delivery of communications for change/business transformation programmes.
• Experience of working in the Oil & Gas industry.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven copywriting and editing skills (print and online).
• Good organisation skills; the ability to work under pressure while independently managing demanding workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaniously.
• A good knowledge of and experience of using web and print-based marketing materials.
• Ability to think creatively to address communications needs.
• Excellent problem solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently following protocols and guidelines.
• High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
• A committed and flexible approach to the job.
• Ability to travel to UK sites.
• Proven experience in building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels and a ‘team-player’ attitude.
• Confident networking and influencing skills.
Experience of balancing the needs of different stakeholders.
