The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
SCOPE: The communications coordinator is responsible for writing and producing internal and external communication tools, including newsletters, brochures, and related materials. The position also provides support for external communications, primarily for advocacy campaigns but could include support for speechwriting, crisis response, advertising, and other outreach efforts.

DELIVERABLES:
Company Website
a. Assist with writing and redesign
b. Daily updates to keep current
c. Producing/creating video clips, fact sheets, etc. for posting
• ConocoPhillips Employee Intranet
a. Assist with redesign and update beginning Nov. 1.
b. Writing and daily posting

• Employee newsletter
a. Writing stories, interviewing, coordinating production

• Support for Advocacy Campaign
a. Employee Speakers Bureau coordination
b. Employee communications
c. New tax reform website Update and to website
d. Assist with development of social media platform (FB, Twitter, paid searches, web ads, YouTube)
e. Produce collateral and coordinate tactics and tools

• Manage content and postings for LCD screens in atrium and elevators

• Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) projects:
a. logo and award design
b. instructor guides;
c. training videos

• Human Resources/Technical recruiting materials

• General writing projects: scripts, news releases, etc.

• Other media/advertising duties as assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
