The Role:
Represent the Company at Yard / Sites in relation with the Contractors to protect Company’s interests.
Control and monitor Contractor’s activities during Fabrication / Installation / Hook-up phases to ascertain that the plant will be built as per specifications, approved drawings and procedures.
Ensure that the Contractors are following all the Company rules concerning HSE.
Follow up and monitor the work progress of Contractors in line with the Project schedule.

Activities:
To assist the Project Management to ensure Compliance with Client (Indonesie) Safety objectives throughout the life of the project.
To establish a clear policy of delegation and responsibilities to his team in term of scope of work, schedule, and deliverable requirements.
To manage, control & motivate the Construction team (superintendents, supervisors, etc).
To ensure that Contractors have adequate resources (equipment and manpower) to perform the job.
To motivate all members of the Team to perform the job at highest quality and good engineering practice respecting the planning and cost objectives.
To make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project.
To maintain good relationships with Contractors, be strict to achieve the objectives of the Project.
To liaise with Safety, Cost, Planning and Administration sections to improve effectiveness of Team.
Keep informed the project manager of all events which may affect the successful completion of the project goals.
Ensure Technology transfer and training of those junior staff supervised.

Context and Environment:
Multiple project Locations and site.
Regular site visits.
Other Departments within TI.

Key point indicators:
Compliance with TI HSE objectives within the specific contracts or purchase orders supervised.
To assist the Project Manager in compliance with the overall project safety compliance.
Accountable for Safety on construction site.
Accountability for project construction standards and construction schedule.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree.
Typically 15 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a Construction Managerial role within a project.
Recognized level of expertise in construction, safety, planning, contractor management and project team management.
Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
Fluent spoken and written English.
