The Role:
SITUATION IN ORGANISATION

• Position to report : Logistics Coordinator

JOB DIMENSIONS
• Number of handling / lifting operations : (HC): 50 / year ; (LC): 1.500

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
• Resident status, located in Basilicate region, in Offices & field.
• Within the framework of Project, the job holder shall:
- Act as a technical advisor of handling and lifting service.
- Promote safe handling & lifting operation referring to policy and international standard.
- Manage handling and lifting and cargo personnel.

HANDLING & LIFTING ACTIVITIES
• Provide expertise in day to day handling and lifting activities on site, which include: categorizing lifts, hazard identifications and risk assessment, technical review (lifting procedures and organizations), selection of equipment/suitability of contractors’ equipment, toolbox talk, post-job debriefing, and assessment of completed job.
• Promote safe handling & lifting operation referring to policy and international standard.
• Review engineering calculation for complex & complicated lifts.
• Approve complicated and complex lift plan and attend the lifts
• Perform condition check and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances, CCUs, and evaluate their utilization on site (in coordination with Inspections Department).
• Provide lifting and handling expertise advice to all RSES.

REPORTING – HSE – COST CONTROL
• Reporting: Contribute from experience via REX+, monthly reporting to TDO/LSO/OPS.
• HSE: Report HIPO, and incidents to HQ.
• Costs control and budgeting : Review current system and standard of equipment’s maintenance with regards to cost effectiveness.

AUDIT – METHOD – MANAGEMENT
• Assess handling & lifting organization in affiliates
• Conduct annual reviews in handling and lifting.
• Participate in all handling and lifting audits in affiliate.
• Periodically review and re-issued generic lift plans
• Develop and maintain up to date subsidiary’s handling and lifting procedures/instructions and ensure they are well understood and applied.
• Assess competences and provide proposal of improvement for personnel involved in H&L operations.
• Participate in the development of training plan for users up to required competence in cooperation with HQ (TDO/LSO/OPS).
• Ensure coaching and mentoring for personnel involved in handling and lifting operations on site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Education : According to their professional experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years experience in handling and lifting operations with a solid background acquired within the Oil and gas industry
• Profile : Teambuilding awareness, leadership, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, organization skills, good command of English and computer literate
• Language skills: English fluent. Italian and / or french highly appreciated.
• IT skills: Basic acknowledge of MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
