Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
• Support the Completions and Start-Up Team through leveraging expert big bore well operation, long subsea tie-back operation, start-up planning and execution knowledge to assist the development and execution of robust start-up plans for the projects Integrated (subsea and onshore) assets.
• Work with CSU Upstream Manager to ensure that OE / IIF expectations are met.
• Review and endorse Commissioning and system verification testing plans and procedures for Upstream and Inlet. Support the development and execution of Upstream start-up procedures through providing guidance and mentoring to CSU Engineers/Coordinators to ensure a safe and efficient start-up of the project Integrated assets. Provide input to the start-up schedule.
• Provide expert well, flow assurance and gas processing facilities start-up and operations support including interfacing with specialists, e.g. ETC, vendors, chemists, to resolve complex start-up issues.
• Interface as necessary with the Commissioning Execution Team and Upstream Facilities Team - System Completions to ensure proper integration between Commissioning, System Verification Testing and Start-Up planning and execution. Interface as necessary with external stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and longer-term planning recommendations for CSU Team staffing, workload, strategy and deliverables development. Support the application of the clients CPDEP process and principles as necessary.
• Assist the CSU Team in trouble shooting activities during start-up and early operation of the facility.
• Provide guidance and experience to assist engineering, operations, and maintenance leaders in diagnosing and correcting operating problems associated with LNG/gas processing.
• Review commissioning & start-up procedures and plans.
• As necessary, support the CSU Upstream Manager in coordinating activities and associated personnel.
• Provide technical mentoring within the CSU Team as well as to the Phase 5 Operations Team. Participate in and sometimes lead technical training as necessary to support Operations OC build.
• Support the CSU Upstream Manager in developing workforce staffing plans, schedules and budgets
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or trade engineering qualifications.
15 + experience in supervisory roles within expertise area.
Requires significant technical and operational insight and experience to develop and implement required deliverables.
Must be able to work closely with the Commissioning Execution Team as well as the Operations Team to devise and implement plans.
Be able to leverage JV and industry best practices in the development and execution phases
