The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company.

The Role:
The Completion Engineer will be accountable for engineering, design, planning, logistic coordination, and execution of completion, cleanup, testing activities performed by the Wells Team.

Member of the wells team that supports drilling, completions and work over operations.
As delegated by the SCE, the incumbent will be responsible for performing well by well work associated with new wells construction in the areas of completion, well testing.
The work includes full operational support for these wells.
The CE works for the Wells Team (Drilling and Completion) performing completion, well unloading and testing work with a drilling rig.
• The work consists of about 50% or more of field based work, and the remainder shall be office based.
• The field work includes (but not limited to) well site supervision and execution of written programs for completion, well testing, coiled tubing, wireline intervention, all with the rig present.
• Also includes (but not limited to) assisting operation personnel as a technical advisor during the clean-up of new wells using the permanent site facilities as part of commissioning.
• Lead service crew to perform the work safely, and according to the written program, and is required to utilize all the tools given by company in HSE leadership and methodology of execution, and use Management of Change for program changes.
• Produce documentation required for all services noted above. Such documents include After Action Reviews, End of Well Reports, and other similar documents.
• During his office bound duties, the CE perform engineering work such as writing work programs, select material, and help as required with material procurement.
• Also assist with services contracting, and participate (wholly or partially) in the contracts pre-evaluation, defining scopes of work for Invitations To Tender, evaluate, and recommend Contracts award.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must possess IWCF Well Control course or equivalent, supervisor level.
Minimum of 10 years experience in completion and well testing.
Solid experience in field supervision and leadership and personnel guidance and coaching.
