The Role:
Job purpose:
To draft completion operations plan and support its execution providing engineering advice and updating, when necessary, well design and execution plans. Prepare C AD drawings as required for deck plans and vessel interface on offshore locations.

As a Well Services / Completion Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Technical knowledge:
• Completion activity
• Workover operations (HWO).
• Well testing (oil and gas)
• Gas lift
• Submersible ESP pumps
• Perforating technique
• Coil Tubing & Slickline operations

As a Well services / Completions Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:
• Preparing completion/ workover programs including all information as specified in Company procedure and applying engineering best practices.
• Preparing estimated cost breakdown of wells completion.
• Operations follow-up on daily basis.
• Recommending changes in some aspects of completion/ workover program (if necessary) to improve drilling and completion methods, techniques and speed.
• Making recommendations to solve completion/ workover operational problems.
• Tracking and benchmarking completion/ workover performance and costs.
• Preparing post well reports.
• Carrying out special studies and reports on any aspects of Well Services and completion operations as required. Assisting to rig site operations for specific jobs.
• Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tenders
• Assisting with Well Head Maintenance planning and reporting.
• Preparing vessel interface drawings and deck plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Work in conjunction with safety, environmental and field operations personnel to optimize safety performance
• Responsible for work-overs including the execution and completion of timing projects; post evaluation of capital projects and financial accruals of timing projects
• Facilitate the preparation and monitor capital budgets relating to completions and well design.
• Ensure accurate and sustainable quality of data for timing projects
• Interact with completion service company representing to improve efficiency operations and cost out lays
• Identify and apply industry best practices as applicable and COMPANY policies & procedures.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

PREREQUISITES
• B.S. Degree in Engineering (Petroleum) preferred but not essential.
• Experience as Well services / completions engineer with demonstrated experience in all components of completions, work-overs and recompletions. Significant experience in horizontal completions would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of applicable software is preferred (e.g. Wellview, Autocad, MS Office Suite, Stim-Plan, Frac-Pro, WEM, Stress Check, etc.) an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of other technical disciplines including subsurface.
