The Role:
The Completions Team Leader is accountable to the Well Engineering Manager for the safe delivery of completion, well testing, re-completion, work over, well intervention activities, as well as well integrity for all of the client's assets.

The role is responsible for the following accountabilities:
Demonstrating HSE leadership within Completions, Interventions , Well Testing and Well Integrity.
Design and implementation of completion, well testing, recompletion, work over, repair, and well intervention activities for all of the client's wells.
Identify new and relevant technologies for application within the organisation
Responsible for preparing cost estimates and budgets for upcoming operations; supporting the generation of AFE’s.
Maintaining the interface between drilling operations, Platform operations and production technology.
Oversee and ensure compliance to the client's Well Integrity Management System.
Update relevant well integrity standards for the organisation
Design, execution, and on-site leadership for completion, well testing, recompletion, workover, repair and well intervention operations.
Preparing detailed procedures, work instructions, JSA’s, etc. as necessary for well operations.
Ensuring proper documentation before and after well activities including completion design documents and detailed end of well reports.
Equipment specification and selection.
Ensuring all work processes and procedures conform to the client's Standards and meet required level of Quality Assurance.
Monitor and assess contractor performance.
Preparing detailed work scope; support tender preparation; analyze and evaluate tender replies and make recommendations with regard to contract award.

Special Features
Job is primarily office based, however, on-site supervision of well operations is required; also requires offshore visits, trips to service company yards, etc.
Must have a strong command of the English language; excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Job requires flexibility in work schedule/hours; must be willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure operations succeed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HSE Leadership.
Supervisory / management experience.
Management, auditing and evaluation of service providers.
Well Delivery Process from Concept development to implementation for completions, re-completions, workover, well testing, repairs, and well interventions.
After action review and implementation of best practice.
Gravel pack/sand control design and implementation as well as direct on-site leadership and supervision of gravel pack operations.
Design and execution of well testing operations.
Production Technology / Reservoir Engineering knowledge
Production Operations.
Troubleshooting well issues.
Experience with land rigs, platform rigs, jack-up rigs, HWU’s, and floating rigs.
Significant on-site supervision of completion-type activities.
Experience working in a multi-disciplined environment and understanding the interaction among the various disciplines.
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
University Engineering Degree.
Well completion and intervention design and implementation.
Sand control techniques and application.
Gravel pack design and implementation; gravel/screen sizing and specification.
Tubing stress analysis; tubing and casing design; material selection.
Well test design, implementation, and interpretation.
Coiled tubing; wireline and interventions inc. acid stimulation.
Well Integrity systems and procedures.
Production Operations.
Production Technology / Reservoir Engineering.
Subsea well completions and operations.
Subsea intervention operations
Contracts management.
Knowledge and operational experience with an operating (as operator) oil/gas company required.
Technical skills, knowledge, and experience to perform the job with a high level of accomplishment and minimal supervision are required.
