The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil & natural gas industry, including exploration & production, manufacturing, marketing & transportation, chemicals manufacturing & sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables & advanced technologies.

The Role:
• To support timely and effective embedment of the SAP CP/MM processes to enable on-time payments to Vendors whilst complying with agreed controls. Deliver SAP CPL End User training to project and Contractor Staff
• Work with the SAP Support Team to deliver process excellence through delivery and embedment of new SAP functionality.
• Ensure business ethics are maintained to the highest level and ensure compliance with the Client Statement of General Business Principles


RTP Controls & Compliance
• Support Contract Holders and other business users in the execution of the Sap Requisition to Pay ( RTP) process within agreed Global and Local Policies, Procedures and Controls to ensure compliance, maximum cost recovery and satisfactory Audit outcomes.
• Ensure the Contracts Procurement and Logistics (CPL) Business Controls Matrix is maintained to address all business process risks for the project.
• To ensure required Controls are agreed, assigned, deployed, executed as defined in the Business Controls Matrix, working closely with Finance Controller and CP Business Process Lead.
• Ensure the assigned responsible person(s) take action to execute their controls actions on a timely basis to address any controls compliance issues identified.
• Carry out sample audits to verify responsible parties are managing their controls responsibilities as agreed and retaining appropriate records/audit trail to support this.
• Report on a monthly basis to the Finance Controller on all incidents and corrective actions taken.
• Maintain the CP Business Continuity Plan.

CPL Process Improvement
• Work closely with CPL SAP Analyst and CPL Business process lead to identify opportunities for business process improvements aligned with the company's direction and best practices.
• Support deployment of Materials Procurement and Inventory Management processes aligned to business objectives and legal/fiscal requirements.
• Support the business in achieving Group and Local KPI targets for RTP and Materials Management processes.

User Training & Support
• Adopt and adapt existing SAP Blueprint training materials to support training of CPL users on Materials and Inventory Management
• Provide CPL team and other business users with support on effective use of SAP Business Warehouse reports to effectively manage their activities and monitor process effectiveness against agreed KPI’s and targets.

SAP Security and Access Management
• Develop and deploy a SAP Access strategy aligned with other SAP functions (FI & PM) and the Global Blueprint Security team in the DSO Malaysia.
• Be the central focal point for managing all Security requests for CPL access in SAP


• Part of a small multi-cultural team supporting diverse users based in different geographic locations
• Position involved ad-hoc travel to Basra Iraq to support business and deliver user training.
• Possess the ability to convey SAP technical details, processes and requirements to non-SAP literate users in a way that they can clearly understand and relate to their responsibilities and activities.
• Able to deal with and safeguard commercially confidential information.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet service levels.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• Qualified degree or equivalent in engineering or related subject with at least 5 years work experience, of which at least 3 years must be in a position working within SCM or MM function (Inventory and Warehouse Management preferred) .
• Good understanding of CP or Logistics business processes within an EP business environment.
• Experience with working in a multi-cultural team.
• Strong communicator comfortable dealing with both the shop floor and project management.
• Strong analytical skills and high degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite
• Some degree of competency in Arabic language would be an advantage.
