The Role:
Responsible for the deployment, implementation and maintenance of the HES Compliance Assurance Process within ensuring that the process is kept current. This will include:
• Ensure process and procedure documentation for the process are maintained and distributed as necessary.
• Support the development of Process (Subject Matter Experts) and other necessary support resources.
• Participate in/coordinate Process Self Assessment.
• Evaluate metrics, perform trend analysis across the company, and report on performance.
• Periodically evaluate the design of the Process, implementation status and facilitate changes to enhance effectiveness, including obtaining necessary governance approvals.
• Control process documentation and records.
• Coordinate CA training to include register maintenance, Essentialsuite training & auditor training.

CA Register Management
Provide direction and guidance in the management of CA registers to include change management of requirements, controls and tasks.
Provide link to SMEs and Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy process for identification of new legislation.

Compliance Monitoring
Monitor data in Compliance module of Essentialsuite to:
• Ensure compliance tasks are being recorded appropriately and where issues arise appropriate action is taken to resolve.
• Identify instances of potential non-compliance in compliance task completion data.
• Ensure tasks are being completed in a timely fashion.

Coordinate OE internal audit activity including:
• Maintain master register of audits.
• Develop annual OE internal audit plan.
• Monitor progress against plan and provide updates to audit committee.
• Ensure that suitably qualified auditors perform OE internal audits.
• Monitor data quality of audit reports before input to Essentialsuite.
• Monitor findings/recommendations for instances of potential non-compliance.
• Monitor findings/recommendations for themes/trends for reporting to management.
• Participate in Audits.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry.
• Understanding of Compliance Assurance.
• Understanding of HES Legislation.
• Good communication skills.
